On the twenty first day of the eight month, in the year two thousand and ten, Skinny Lister will head off on their Great British Narrowboat tour! Setting off from Linslade in Bedfordshire to Camden Lock in old London town and back again, it’s a ten day waterway adventure!
Along the way we will search for the spirit of the waterways, writing and singing songs old and new, whilst reveling in lock-side shanties, traditional songs and stopping off at waterside pubs for impromptu gigs, diddles, dancing and refreshment (of course!). The soundtrack to this very special journey will be recorded onboard and released in the form of the ever so limited edition Grand Union EP (with handstitched CD covers by Lorna’s fair hand), which will be free to all who come to the end of tour show at Camden’s Lock Tavern on the 25th of August (9pm).
