Well the skinny troupe made it through the Bestival bash bedraggled with plenty of o’be joyful in us. Another 4 shows in 3 days fuelled on adrenaline, tiredness and the good ole demijohn.
A big up and big thankyou to all those others ‘lost in the orchard’ we’ve worked with over the summer at Latitude, Bestival and Leeds. Apologies again for Lorna’s misguided advertisement for another well known brand of alcoholic apple juice. Saturday night the skinnies split as usual and managed to find themselves and others engaged in heavy duty fieldwork right into the wee hours. Oh what it is to be semi-professional party goers. The summer festival season is drawing to a close. Only one more for us Skinnies this coming weekend in the form of ‘Summer Sunset’ out near Aldermaston. What on earth will happen to us after that?
