Stuttgart and Oberhausen
We arrive back in Stuttgart and it doesn’t feel like long ago we were here before. It’s good to hear our friend from the Floggin’ Molly tour Dave Hause playing on the sound system before the support goes on. We are surprised by friends Max and Laura showing up and even though its bank holiday Monday, I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun show. It is! We get through a lot if rum, and no one at Zwolfzehn is bothered by the holiday and everyone has a great time!
The next day is a long drive. When we get to Druckluft, the next venue which is a kind of commune, it’s gift day for us Skinnies; we receive local beer, vinyl and whiskey from old friends.
Again a great fun show. My dress rips, Dan tells me off for punching him too hard on stage (oops!) and beer is all over the place!
After the show we head to the hostel, where we make up the broken bed I’m pretty sure wasn’t meant for us before setting off to Erfurt, apparently a beautiful city.
Hopefully we won’t make too many navigational mistakes and have a bit of time for sightseeing! Hmm…with Slim as navigator we might just have a problem!
Hello friends,
what a great evening yesterday! It’s great to meet you again and again. It is a bit like a family reunion when we meet. We’ll see you again on Saturday fortunately already. Good luck for the show in Erfurt.
